BIODIVERSITY

The impact of man’s activity is creating an accelerated loss of biodiversity that the international and national legal frameworks do not seem capable of solving adequately.

The Convention of Biological Diversity (1992) aims at preserving biodiversity, the sustainable use of all its elements and the fair distribution of the benefits derived from its use.

ICEL analyzes the causes of the inefficiency of the biological biodiversity protection in order to reinforce the legal system and improve the protection of all living organisms of our planet.
