This official virtual side event co-sponsored by ICEL in the framework of the UN Water Conference 2023 brings together diplomats, jurists and Supreme Court justices from around the world to discuss the contents and implications of the 2018 Brasilia Declaration of Judges on Water Justice. This Declaration was a main product of the 8th World Water Forum, and revolves around 10 principles, which address key issues in relation to legislation and water justice, from the perspective of protection of the environment and human rights. It is a valuable legal contribution towards a roadmap for the implementation of SDG 6.
