The conference “Climate rights and climate advocacy: How do the courts and the media address climate change?” was held at the Getafe Campus of the UC3M on January 29, 2024, organized by the UC3M and the International Institute of Law and Environment (IIDMA), with the collaboration of ICEL. Ana Barreira, Director General of IIDMA presented the report of the DACE project “Climate rights: legal mechanisms for climate defense in Spain”. In turn, Álvaro Caballero, journalist at Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) specialized in climate and environment, presented a paper on “The approach to climate change by the media”. The event was presented and moderated by Montserrat Abad Castelos.
