Webinar “Towards the Human Environment + 50 Conference: Ambitions and Limits
The webinar “Towards the Human Environment + 50 Conference: Ambitions and Limits” will take place on December 10th, 2020, from 19:30 to 21:00 p.m. CET. This online event is co-organized by UC3M and ICEL, and will be held through Blackboard Collaborate. The goal is to explore how much should or could be done in the next key Summit in the field of environmental protection at the international level, putting the most relevant actors in the spotlight. In this framework, trajectory and projects of ICEL (the International Council of Environmental Law, which will soon bring its legal seat to Spain) will be reviewed. The event will consist of an interview with the Executive Governor of ICEL and a round table made up of experts in order to assess the role of the States; international governmental organizations; NGOs / civil society; and companies.
